I had the worst meal this year at this establishment. it wasn't the food, the food could be classed as poor pub grub, who ever the chef is i pity him...poor quality ingredients and the need to cut costs will drive the customers away. The owner or manager and his staff were ignorant of decent service protocol if anything. It was a real let down and an expensive one at that. I took my uncle there for his birthday at the start of the year and enjoyed it enormously, and presumably under different ownership now will not be returning..
I took my family for a pre christmas lunch and we had the best lunch there, our other experience was a local village inn just outside aberargie, dreadful,. so we were enthralled with this place.. would go there every week if the pocket would allow.. my kids loved the fresh west coast mussel stew. Thanks to the ovenstones once again for giving us stylish interior design combined with great food. Nigel & wendy ebblewhite.
