Distant Hills is an established family run guest house, set in extensive grounds and located at the edge of a quiet Highland village. Spean Bridge is an ideal base for touring, with all aspects of outdoor activities available locally, and situated just three miles from Aonach Mor mountain gondola. Distant Hills has a peaceful setting amidst some of the most spectacular scenery in the Highlands of Scotland with uninterrupted mountain views. It makes a perfect holiday base whether you are interested in walking, climbing, skiing, birdwatching, canoeing, riding, fishing or just relaxing. We are only a short distance away from Britains highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Spean Bridge lies within the Fort William and Lochaber area, now designated the official Outdoor Capital of the UKThe guesthouse benefits from a comfortable, well furnished lounge with quiet outlook over the Nevis Range mountains. The pleasant dining room offers excellent home cooking with an accent on fresh local produce. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. We do not accept stag or hen groups. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets. Check-In time: 14:00 to 21:00 and Check-Out time: 10:00.
