Lovat Arms

An absolutely amazing hotel. The staff was extremely accomodating and friendly. The facilities were beautiful, and the room was the most comfortable one I have ever stayed in. Huge, gorgeous bathroom, feather soft beds, satellite television. Top notch restaurant with a pleasantly modern take on traditional Scottish cuisine. The hotel also uses 100% recycled materials, which was a big surprise as they were rather good items as well. The price is a bit salty if you're staying during peak tourist time, and apparently the Royal Air Force does excercises over the area (a TNDF-3 Tornado Fighter/Bomber buzzed the building at 8 in the morning), but otherwise it was absolutely wonderful. Don't let the jets put you off, I only stayed there one night, so it might have just been a fluke.
