MY FIRST BLOG

Yes, it is true, I never wrote a blog before. There, I got it off my chest! April 2010.The Kitchen Shop at Crieff has been expending since 2005 when we first opened our doors, offering great quality German kitchens. Our founding principles remain. Best quality at minimum price without any compromise on service. I am proud to be able to say that we have stuck to these core principles throughout. The range of kitchens on offer has increased with Mereway Kitchens now available. Mereway Kitchens are a much respected British manufacturer of great quality and the range is expanding every year, from realistic faux timber finishes through the beautiful painted Lincoln range to solid oak. When we moved from our smaller premises at Comrie Street last year, we were able to offer a greater range of bathrooms and we have now added Cosmo Ceramics to complement bathrooms, kitchens, in fact all through the home. For those intrepid types who are planning an extension or even a new build, we have Lindsay Cruickshank available to turn your ideas into workable drawings for submission to Planning. Lindsay is Technical Director of Scothaus Design and build and offers FREE consultation for your project. It is a really useful service as he can point you in the right direction, drawing upon his years of experience. If you have read in the local press about the fiendish increase in rates and the way the government's revaluation exercise has affected The Kitchen Shop at Crieff, take heart. The good news is that as I type this, we are negotiating the sub-lease of part of our premises which will get us back under the threshold, so the threat of additional costs on your new kitchen has now been countered.   I was searching google maps for a kitchen shop in close proximity to where I lived and came upon the kitchen shop at crieff. I was surprised when I found it on google that it had a bad review to its name, none of the reviews on here were listed and the bad one, linked to here does not appear to exist. Contrary to the 'ghost' review, I followed the advice of the the 4 other 'reviewers' on here and was very pleased with everything, quality, price (very reasonable) and the timescale. My wife was relieved that our house was left tidy unlike our past experiences with Howdens. I must say im very pleased with my purchase of a log burning stove as it will keep my house cosy in the winter! Samuel C.

  Last year my good friend and I fell upon this kitchen showroom. We were greeted warmly, yet professionaly. After looking around at the kitchens,bathrooms, stoves and other products, it was pretty much set in stone that I would by from here! I took away brochures (as did my friend) and ordered the following week. My friend had her kitchen and bathroom redone and a stove fitted. I was so impressed that I decded to not only have my kitchen done but to go for the whole Shebang! GREAT SERVICE!

  At this fine establishment, I found a very high standard of service. The person in charge was highly respectable and very helpful! The kitchen service was so good I had my bathroom done too! Everything was of very reasonable pricing, the quality was exceptional, there was no mess whatsoever (everything was left clean and tidy!) and the tine scale was superb! I would definatly reccomend and I totally disagree with the degrading review of Lizzie W.
